Services Available for Families and Individuals
Restoration & Peace provides both in-home therapy, wrap around services and traditional counseling. Our
counseling techniques are founded on biblical principles. Restoration & Peace uses a Christ-centered therapeutic
approach. Therapeutic techniques focus on deliverance utilizing a spiritual, holistic approach, expecting true
deliverance. Men, women, children, and families have benefited from these services. Restoration & Peace works
in conjunction with the agency to meet their goals and service plan for each client.
HOYA -- Help Our Youth Achieve
H.O.Y.A. is a diversion program to keep youth off the streets, out of the
courts, living sober and abstaining from sexual behavior. It has direct
oversight from a licensed mental health practitioner. It uses researched
and outcome based measures to teach teens to truly change their lives.
It is a project we are giving our lives to. It is the Passion Project. For even
the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to
give his life a ransom for many. Mk.10:45 H.O.Y.A .is more than just a
youth group. It is an outreach that teaches teens how to apply the things
he or she learns in situations they encounter every day. Teens should
be able to say “I don’t just know what, I know how.”
The Mission of H.O.Y.A. is to introduce teens to Jesus, that they may know Him as a Savior who is
concerned about every aspect of their lives. It is to teach reliance on Jesus as way of life that will heal all of the ills
in their lives as well as the ills in society. It is to have every child filled with and walking in the Spirit. And that they
learn to have fun in safety and righteousness. Ga.5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the
lust of the flesh.
The strategy:
is to teach life skills based on biblical principles. We believe that doing this they will learn to live their lives in
accordance with the teachings of Jesus. They will gain faith in the teachings of the Lord as they experience the
success that is inherent in Godly living.
Encourage parents to support the efforts of the program by participating with their teens in events that
recognize achievement.

In Home Counseling
At times a traditional setting doesn't adequately address family dynamics. In home counseling then becomes
helpful. Believing that the family setting is the best place to resolve family issues, counselors go into family's home
one-three times per week to assist families in growth and overcoming difficulties. Counselors identify and use the
family's existing strengths and resources by involving the family as a partner in the decision-making and goal-
setting process.
Parenting Classes
Christ Centered Parenting teaches 3 concepts: know God, love God and do
God's will. Parents learn how to incorporate these concepts into their everyday
parenting. Parents benefit from learning how to give and enforce consequences.
